SUMMARY:South Pearl Street Farmers Market
DESCRIPTION:I’ll be performing at the intersection of Florida Avenue and South Pearl Street. \nFrom the website: \nJarman and Co Events manages the South Pearl Street Farmers Market. They strive to support and enhance the surrounding community by providing a Farmers Market experience where a great variety of fresh and wholesome products can be found. It is important to support our local community\, therefore\, all products must be grown\, raised\, produced or gathered by the vendor in the State of Colorado or in counties bordering the State of Colorado. In the case that a product is unavailable in the state of Colorado but we feel it would be a benefit to the market and the vendors we will evaluate the relationship between the vendor and the producer and make the best decision we can noting that sometimes there are exceptions to the rule.

DESCRIPTION:In case you haven’t heard\, the Skylark Lounge is back! They’ve been having events for a bit now\, but April 5 to 10 is their Grand Opening Week\, featuring music\, comedy\, drag\, etc. I won’t be a part of that\, though I hope to get out there. \nHowever\, I will be playing a there on Friday\, May 6\, with Rowboat and Gun Street Ghost. \nAbout Rowboat: \nThis thing moves purposefully and aimlessly. It drifts among behemoth ships\, and burned out vessels that sink away\, down narrow lanes that hug the shore\, strung with lights that peak and fade\, then out into the endless night\, beyond the crush of the channel lines\, out of sight of the fading light\, where darkness fills the eyes and mind\, and the ocean’s sound matches mine. \nAbout Gun Street Ghost: \nGun Street Ghost is a Denver-based four piece band that fuses a punk past and hundreds of hours in the honky tonk into nuanced\, powerful rock and roll. \nDoors open at 8 p.m. (I’m on first). Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

SUMMARY:CANCELED: Desert Atlas at Trident Booksellers & Cafe\, Boulder
DESCRIPTION:ANOTHER UPDATE (4/27): This show has been canceled due to illness. \nUPDATE: This show has been rescheduled for April 29\, 2022. \nSinger-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mark Ramirez\, who performs and records under the name Desert Atlas\, writes what he calls lowercase songs\, which often document a preoccupation with time and place: geography and geology\, weather and the seasons\, and\, always\, the past. \nOriginally from the Philippines\, Ramirez arrived in New Jersey at the age of 17. After a couple of decades in the Northeast\, he moved to Denver in 2015 and has been greatly inspired by the scale of the American Southwest\, releasing his first solo full-length album—The Great Plains are an Ocean—in June 2021. \nHe was recently featured as part of the Local 303 on Indie 102.3\, and his music can be heard on all major streaming services.

SUMMARY:Distance Walk\, Nathaniel Riley\, Desert Atlas at Mutiny Info Cafe
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Mutiny Info Cafe on Sunday\, December 12 for live music from Desert Atlas\, Nathaniel Riley\, and Distance Walk. Desert Atlas plays at 7\, Nathaniel at 8\, and Distance Walk at 9. \nDesert Atlas is Denver-based singer-songwriter Mark Ramirez. 303 Magazine celebrated Desert Atlas’s debut album for its “thoughtful lyricism” and expansive soundscapes\, and they were named a Featured Artist by Indie 102.3 in November. \nNathaniel Riley is a Fort Collins-based folk singer-songwriter. Westword has praised him for his “profoundly Inside Llewyn Davis kind of vibe with his mournful ballads.” He released his debut\, 3 song EP in 2020 and has new music in the works. \nDenver indie folk band Distance Walk borders on the fringes of freak folk with a sound they sometimes call “bootgaze.” They released their debut EP in the spring of 2021\, and are currently playing live as a fiddle and banjo duo. \n$5-$10 suggested donation\, that said\, the show is open to all and no one will be turned away! \nThanks to Mutiny Info Cafe for having us!
